Harry T. Hedrick

January 10, 1922 — May 20, 2002

Mr. Harry T. Hedrick, 80, a resident of Washington Street in Williamsport, died Monday, May 20, 2002 at St. Thomas Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Hedrick will be conducted Thursday, May 23, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating.
Entombment will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The Maury County native was the son of the late Logan Gerone Hedrick and the late Pearl Irene Stofel Hedrick. He was the husband of Rachel Lucille Andrews Hedrick of Williamsport. He was retired from Tennessee Valley Authority and served in U.S. Army during World War II. He was a well-known fiddle player in Maury County and won the State Championship in 1947. He was a member of the original Mule Day Band.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Sheila M. David Oliver of Williamsport, TN; a son, Logan G. Gloria Hedrick of Mt. Pleasant, TN; a granddaughter, Hope Denise Hedrick of Mt. Pleasant and a grandson, Dax T. Russell of Franklin, TN.,
a sister, Barbara Ann Hutt of Gadsden Alabama.
He was preceded in death by three sisters: Winnie Mosley, Betty Boshers and Mary Nesbitt and six brothers; James, Lee, George, Dale, Bobby and Jack Hedrick.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
