Mr. Harry J. Smith Sr., age 72, a resident of Hilltop Drive in Columbia, passed away on Friday, January 8, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be at a later date at Toft Funeral Home in Sandusky, OH. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, in Sandusky, OH.
Born on August 29, 1937 in Sandusky, OH. Harry was the son of the late Peter and Pursis ?Wiley? Smith. He was the husband of Alice Smith of Columbia. Mr. & Mrs. Smith were married November 12, 1955. They were married for 54 years. He retired from Cedar Point Amusement Park as a landscaper.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Linda John Ohlemacher of Columbia, Harry Smith Jr. of Enid, OK, Thomas Lois Smith of Hershey, PA, Patty Ronald Smith of Sandusky, OH, and Mary John Hicks of Warren, MI; two sisters: Helen Platte of Berlin Heights, OH, and Betty Dickman of Sandusky, OH; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
