Harold E. Clark

July 15, 1929 — January 13, 2011

Harold E. "Pete" Clark was born on July 15, 1929 in Maury County, the son of the late Clarence and Minnie Pearl Isabell Clark. On May 20, 1950, Pete married Ann Madden Clark who resides in Mt. Pleasant. He retired as a mechanic and welder after 45 years of service with Stauffer Chemical Company. Pete loved golfing every day, no matter the weather conditions, with all of his buddies at the Mt. Pleasant Golf Course.

Pete passed away on Thursday, January 13, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Jim Walsh officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 5:00 ? 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors in addition to his wife include his children: Ronnie Mary Clark of Mt. Pleasant and David H. Clark of Columbia, Teresa Donald Barker and Tammy Wayne Orr, both of Richmond, KY; one sister: Dot Thomas Anderson of Columbia; grandchildren: Jamie Orr, John Orr, both of Richmond, KY, Brian Teresa Barker of Richmond, KY, Brandy Mike King of Mahomet, IL, Brooke Brandon Fritz of Richmond, KY; Kelley Andrew Scharrer and Kimberly Bryant Workman, both of Mt. Pleasant; 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way; a special family member, Deborah Clark of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Clark and one sister, Evelyn McCarty.

Pallbearers will be Billy Roy Thompson, Tommy Wayne Anderson, Stevie Anderson, George Whitwell, Gary Flippo, William "Tot" Roddy, Tommy McCormick and Charles Pruitt. Honorary pallbearers will be Roland McKnight, Sammy Boshers, Gene Lindsey, Gene Clark, Greg Ivie, Sarge Drane, Charles "Hopper" Morton, Phil Clark, Jerry Colvett, Roger Prince and the doctors and staff of Columbia Oncology.
