Mr. Harold C. ?Doc? Scott, 73, a resident of Enterprise Road at Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, December17, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral service for Mr. Scott will be conducted Saturday, December 18, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Mike Tanner officiating. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 3 :00 until 9 :00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Hughie Franklin and Ollie Qualls Scott and was the husband of Gail Moore Scott. He was retired owner and operator of State Painting Company in Mt. Pleasant and attended the Victory Baptist Church. He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Barbara Scott Staggs of Mt.Pleasant; two sons, Vince Teresa Scott of Santa Fe, TN and Jack Sandra Scott of Mt. Pleasant, TN; seven grandchildren, Heather Scott, Brittanie Staggs, Ana Meacham, Terri Scott, Cam Scott, and David Rochester all of Mt. Pleasant, TN, and Brandy Scott of Santa Fe, TN. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Green and a brother, Jackie Scott.
Pallbearers will be David Rochester, Walter Musick, Tony Curtis, Eddie Gray, David West, and Mark Craftman. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Paul, Terry Lovett, Brett Curtis, Derrick Curtis, nurses and staff of Hidden Acres Health Care.
