H. Peter Reisen

H. Peter "Pete" Reisen passed away on Sunday February 19, 2012. Pete was born on February 24, 1941 in Jacksonville, Fl, the son of the late Herman Peter Reisen, Sr., and late Edith NesSmith Reisen. Pete was a 7 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and spent his career working as an electrical contractor. After retiring from Jacksonville Electric Authority, he moved to Columbia TN where he was a member of the Catholic Church of the Nativity in Spring Hill. Pete enjoyed woodworking, fishing and vegetable gardening.
Pete is survived by his wife of 44 years, JoAnn VanDyke Reisen of Columbia and his children, Denise Trevor Benyon Novey of Melbourne, FL, David Amanda Reisen of Columbia and Debbie Mark Hinson of Franklin; one sister, Dottie Millis of Jacksonville, FL and eight grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service at the Church of the Nativity on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you help the needy and hurting in your community. Your gift to others in need will become a living and loving tribute to Pete's memory.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
