H. Frank Alexander

Mr. H. Frank Alexander, 83, a long time resident of the Culleoka Community, passed away Saturday, August 6 at NHC/Hillview.

Born August 19, 1927 in Maury County, son of the late Roy and Ethel Eddleman Matlock and the husband of the late Frances Porterfield Alexander. He was a carpenter, a farmer and a school bus driver for the Maury County School System and had driven over 1, 000, 000 miles. Mr. Alexander was a member of Straightway Christian Church.

In addition to his wife, Evelyn Parham Alexander of Columbia, he is survived by his sons: Joe Darlene Alexander of Culleoka, Dennis Becke Alexander of Mt. Juliet and Jeff Cheryl Alexander of Gallatin; grandchildren: Darrell Alexander, Michele Alexander, Joanne Jones, Dana Alexander and Wyatt Tabor; step-children: Jessie Parham, Lee Charles Dillehay, Jean Thomas Parham, Nancy Bill Stanfill and John Rhonda Parham; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister: Pauline Davenport; a brother: James Alexander; two foster sisters: Grace Garrard and Ruby Reese.

Funeral services for Mr. Alexander will be held 10:00 AM Monday in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Jim Maddox and Rev. Monty McCandless officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship cemetery in Culleoka.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Caris Healthcare, 1412 Trotwood Ave., Columbia, TN 38401

The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Davis, Mike Jackson, Brent LeMay, Thomas Bojko, Edward Andrews and Jimmy White. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy McGee, Joe Kelley, Danny Ray Goldman, Aubrey Nelson, Gwen Nolen and Charles Dillehay.
