Grover C. Davis
July 2, 1933 — April 8, 2005
Mr. Grover C. Davis, 71, a resident of Williamsport Pike, passed away Friday, April 8, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Davis will be conducted Monday, April 11, 2005 at 10:00 am at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Dusty Crumley officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late James I. and Maude Lee Scott Davis and husband of the late Flora Mai Simmons Davis. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Ann Austin of Columbia and Betty Faye Roy Westbrook of Paris, TX; a son, Grover C. Davis, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; eight grandchildren, Zackary Austin, Alexander McClendon and Jessie Lee Davis, all of Columbia, Joshua Westbrook, Jonathan Westbrook, Linda Westbrook, Christina Westbrook and Roy Westbrook, Jr. all of Paris, TX; two great grandchildren; two brothers, F.A. Elizabeth Davis of Columbia and Charles Frazier Louise Davis of Lebanon; a sister, Judy Moncrief of Charlestown, IN.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
