Grady M. Higgason

Grady M. "Ike" Higgason, 61, resident of Old Hwy. 43 South in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday at his home.
Born March 28, 1951 in Maury County, son of Henry Higgason of Mt. Pleasant and the late Helen Louise Norman Higgason. He worked as an electrician at TN Aluminum Processors, loved fishing and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a son: Christopher "Chris" Higgason of Ocala, FL; granddaughter: Kayla Higgason of Ocala, FL; sisters: Vera Higgason Kulbeik of Mt. Pleasant and Barbara Higgason Ring of Culleoka; brothers: Johnny Joyce Higgason and Willie Higgason, both of Summertown; several nieces and nephews.
A Family Remembrance service for Mr. Higgason will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with family and friends sharing their memories about him.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 9:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
