Grace E. Bolton, age 94, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022, in Columbia, Tennessee.
Grace was born June 28, 1927, to the late Emmett Howard Derryberry and Mary Charity Winchester in Maury County.
Grace was raised in a large family. She was one of nine of her siblings and the last to make it to her robust years of her 90s. Grace has been a long-time faithful member of the Philadelphia Church of Christ, where she came to know many members of her community. Coming from a large family, Grace devoted her life to motherhood. She wholeheartedly cared for the growing little lives of each generation she witnessed sprout before her. She consistently stayed busy by not only making sure each child was fed and nurtured, as well as making sure the kitchen floors were mopped at least three times. Among her love for children, she loved her infamous collection of frogs. She could fill rooms with her priceless collection. She will be so dearly missed.
The family will receive family and friends Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Bolton; and her son, Warner Bolton.
Grace is survived by her two daughters, Vannette Bolton and Kim (Mark) Allen; grandchildren: Kyle Bolton, Charity Sharp, Patrick Hall, Emery (Jeremy) Stevens, and Landon Allen; great-grandchildren: Cody Bolton, Blake Bolton, Brooklyn Davis, Ethan Sharp, Wesley Sharp, Maverick Sharp, and Neely Sharp; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
