Glenn Robinson

Jessie Glenn Robinson, lovingly known as Glenn, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

Born on September 8, 1941, Glenn was the cherished son of the late Charlie and Susie Robinson. A faithful member of Spencer Hill Church of Christ, Glenn lived his life rooted in faith. He read his Bible religiously, and when he wasn’t reading scripture, he could often be found flipping through the hymnal, picking out what songs to sing for Sunday morning worship. His love for the Lord was evident in everything he did.

Glenn had a heart full of love for his children and grandchildren, whom he adored unconditionally. Known for his goofy spirit and sense of humor, he had a special gift for making those around him laugh and smile. Whether it was a funny story or a well-timed joke, Glenn brought joy wherever he went.

An avid outdoorsman, Glenn enjoyed coon hunting when he had the chance, finding peace and enjoyment in the simplicity of nature.

He is survived by his loving children, Sharon (Josh) Burgett and Jason (Amber) Robinson; his treasured grandchildren, Jessica (Taylor) Reid, Shealyn Burgett, Arie Davis, Noah Burgett, and Arley Dale. His legacy of love, laughter, and faith lives on in each of them.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents; and son: Keith Robinson; and siblings: Charlie V. “CV” Robinson, and Evelyn Waldrop.

A visitation for Glenn will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. A service celebrating his life will take place on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM, also at Williams Funeral Home, with Rusty Colvett officiating.

Though Glenn will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to be a light in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
