Mrs. Glenda Jean Eddy Hay, 55, a resident of Morris Ave. in Columbia, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hay will be conducted Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Burial will be in Attkisson Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Taylor and Dixie Kennedy Cocke and wife of Milton E. Hay. She was a retired manager from Associate Capitol and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Cassie A. Hay of Columbia, Sherry Ronny Sheeter of Mt. Pleasant, Donna Donnie Huddleston of Spring Hill and Kelly Johnson of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Austin Huddleston and Hanna Huddleston, both of Spring Hill and Anna Clare Sheeter of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Charlotte Mickey Stout of Greenfield, TN and Annette Grimenstein of Columbus, GA; a brother, Robert Eddy of Illinois; special cousin, Charles and Katie Thornton of Columbia; special friend, Neal and Faye Griggs of Columbia.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Thornton, Eddie Kelley, Ryan Kelley, Ronny Sheeter, Donnie Huddleston, Neal Griggs, Reed Poling and Matt Pace. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Michael Tyler, Johnny Vaughn, Mickey Hay, Kenny Hay Donnie Spires, Clifton Hay, J.W. Hay, nephews, cousins and the Columbia Fire Department.
