Glenda “Gale” Spurgeon Tidwell, age 50, passed away at her home, Saturday, March 29, 2014.
Glenda was born January 14, 1964 in Lawrence County, TN, to Emmitt and the late Glenda “Burdette” Spurgeon. Glenda was a homemaker and caretaker, always caring for others first. She loved spending time with her family more than anything. She was also an animal lover particularly dogs and horses. She was a loving woman always sharing her time and attention with others. She was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Glenda is survived by her: husband: Norman Tidwell; daughters: Tashina (John Burek) Tidwell and Tabitha (Homer) Esparza; father: Emmitt Spurgeon; sister: Joann (Rodney) Shedd; brothers: Randy (Heather) Spurgeon, Ricky Spurgeon, and Eric (Alicia) Spurgeon; grandsons: Jaedon Tidwell, Xaviar, and Xhakary Esparza; and grand daughter: Xhariana Esparza.
She is preceded in death by her mother Glenda “Burdette” Spurgeon.
The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services begin at 4:00 p.m. following the visitation time.
