Gladys Lemay Luttrell Bishop

Mrs. Gladys Lemay Luttrell Bishop passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at her residence in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Gladys was born on January 14, 1931 in Maury County, Tennessee to the late John Wesley Lemay and the late Martha Hannah Pierce Lemay. She worked for many years at Murray Manufacturing Company in Lawrenceburg and was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bishop will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Dalton Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Spencer Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Saturday, March 16 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gladys is survived by many loving family members including her daughters: Martha Luttrell and Linda (Charles) Francis; siblings: Junior (Carolyn) Lemay, Billy (Patsy) Lemay, Claude (Libby) Lemay, Bobby Ray (Betty Jean) Lemay and Edna (Ambers) Church; grandchildren: Jimmy (Kristie) Francis, Johnny (Donna) Potts, Danny “Toby” Potts, Jennifer (Evan) Chatman, Wendy (Ray) Odom, Jody (Jason) Thomason and Michelle (Larry) Sims; and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband: Marvin Bishop; son: Jodie Ray Luttrell, and her sisters: Bonnie Sue McNeal and Ida Bell Landers.

Jimmy Francis, Joshua Francis, Johnny Potts, Devin Davis, Corey Chapman, Danny “Toby” Potts, Leo Cole, III, Evan Chatman, Matt Cox and William Luttrell will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Allen, Ricky Lemay, Jason Thomason, Larry Sims, Ray Odom, Wesley Pruitt, William Pruitt, Randy Lemay, John McNeal, Claude Lemay, Jr., Austin Davis, Chris Lemay and Alvin Allen.
