Gladys "Gigi" St. Jacques was born July 16, 1935 in Nashua, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Maurice Bradley and Dora McClellan Bradley. On February 12, 1955, she married Gerard "Jerry" St. Jacques and they enjoyed 57 wonderful years of marriage. Into this marriage were born four children and Jerry credits Gigi with the fine adults they have become. Over the years, she had worked as a nurse's aide, florist and in her retirement years was very well known for her work at Publix in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Gigi was a communicant of the Church of the Nativity in Spring Hill.
Along with Jerry, Gigi leaves behind to carry on her legacy their children, Kim Craig Czerwinski of Pt. St. Lucie, Florida, Kevin Maura St. Jacques of Seattle, Washington, Karen Jeff Hons of Coral Springs, Florida and Kurt Teresa St. Jacques of Columbia; grandchildren, Allison Czerwinski, Brett Czerwinski, Sophie St. Jacques, Kristyn Hons, Sierra Hons, Brandan Hons, Justin St. Jacques and Tori St. Jacques; two sisters, Cora Phillips and Mary Jane McClellan along with two brothers, Paul Bradley and Richard Bradley. In addition to her parents, Gigi was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Tom Bradley.
Gigi passed away at her home on Thursday evening, June 28.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Father Kirk officiating. Interment will follow in The Arbors at Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
