Gladys Fox

Gladys Fox, age 65, passed away on December 29, 2021 in Columbia, Tennessee at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Gladys was born to the late Willard G. Bailey and Annie Walker “Allen” Bailey on December 31, 1955 in Maury County, Tennessee.
Gladys was a very caring and family oriented woman. She made sure her family never went without being taken care of. She was kind to all. She adored her children, Johnny and Kay, with all her heart as they were her caregivers for several years. She also loved to smile and laugh with all sorts of people.
Gladys loved the holidays. She was able to celebrate one more Christmas (as it was her favorite holiday) with her family that she cherished so much.
Gladys is preceded in death by husband: John Fox; parents; and two brothers: Willard Gregory Bailey Jr. and Steven Owen Bailey.
Gladys is survived by her two wonderful children: Johnny Wayne Fox and Kay Ann Fox (Timmy); siblings: Ina R. Fitzgerald, Mary Frances James (Frank), Ernest Allen Bailey, Carolyn Ann Fleming (Stephen), James Mark Bailey (Lisa); grandchildren: Cindy Hull, Mindy Hull, Timmy Hull Jr, Angel Hull, Brittany Hull ; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special Aunt Virginia Allen.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Hull Jr, William Brian Fitzgerald, Kenneth “Bubba” Batts, Ernie Allen Jr, Stephen Fleming Jr, and James Mark Bailey.
A visitation for Gladys will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The service for Gladys will be Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Terry Potts officiating. Graveside will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Theta, Tennessee.
