Geraldine M. Grogan, age 77, resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, December 1, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 16, 1935 in Bono, Arkansas, the daughter of the late James Nathan Hammond and Joyce Irene Coleman Hammond. She was the wife of the late Bobby Joe Grogan.
Geraldine was a Certified Nursing Assistant with the LaGrange Memorial Hospital in Lagrange, IL and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her children, Connie Grogan of Mt. Pleasant, Vonda Cizek of Columbia, Joe Grogan and James (Liz) Grogan, both of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Jim Hayman, Michelle Neifert (Shannon) Luna, Cassie Neifert, and Amy Grogan; great-grandchildren, Michael Austin Collins, Bryanna Marie Collins, Logan Kennedy Fralix and Savannah Lynn Fralix; two sisters, Jewel Noveda (Bill) Lehman and Joyce (Gene) O’Daniel and one brother, Maxie (Diane) Hammond.
A memorial service for Geraldine will be conducted Saturday, December 15, at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral home in Mt. Pleasant.
