Mrs. Geraldine Elizabeth Marler, age 69, resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away on February 29, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Marler was born June 14, 1943 in St. Louise, MO, the daughter of the late Hubert Edward Friese and Eunice Mae Rasor Friese. Geraldine was the wife of the late Phillip Dale Marler who preceded her in death in 1995. She was a retired nurse's aide.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Susan Marler of Desloge, MO and Phillip J. Marler of Bosier City, LA; five brothers, Eugene Bonnie Friese of French Village, MO, Bill Linda Friese of Park Hills, MO, Tommy Cathy Friese of Texas, Donald Friese of Georgia and Frank Mary Lee Friese of French Village, MO; five sisters, Barbara Mock of Georgia, Betty Bob Metz of St. Louis, MO, Sharon Roger Samuels of Kentucky, Janet Randy Koyn of Lake Timberline, MO and Nancy Chambers of Texas; grandchildren, Kaylin, Angela and Ricco Marler. In addition to her husband and parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by a daughter, Joanne E. Marler.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with their arrangements.
