Gerald Glen Howell

Mr. Gerald Glen ?Chicken Legs? Howell, age 61, a resident of Stanfill Drive in Columbia, passed away on Monday July 9, at his residence.
Funeral services for Mr. Howell will be conducted Friday July 13, at 2:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Brother Wayne Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late J. R. Howell and Elma Ruth Morgan Howell and the husband of Thelma Jean Boshers Howell. He was a retired truck driver and mechanic for Smith Trucking and Excavating Company. He served in the United States Army and was of Methodist faith.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one Daughter: Lynn Howell of Mt. Pleasant; special family members, his grand-dogs, Freddie and Raggs. He was preceded in death by one brother: Bobby Howell and one sister: Nora Dene Rakowski.
Pallbearers will be Wendell Cothran, Roger Boshers, Gene Cothran, Chris Shirley, Terry Estes, Tony Davis, Goldie and Chad Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Boshers, Jimmy Boshers, W.L. Boshers, David Rakowski, Edward Rakowski, Mark Rakowski, Stephen Rakowski and Terry Clayton Estes.
Memorial may be made to the Hospice of the Highland Rim, 1412 Trotwood Avenue Suite #5, Columbia, TN 38401.
