Georgia Lee Ary Henry, age 85, peacefully went to join her creator on December 17, 2021, surrounded by her loving family in Columbia, Tennessee.
Georgia was born to the late George Dewey Ary and Mayme Moss Ary on February 19, 1936, in Trenton, Tennessee. Georgia married Daniel Edward Henry on August 2, 1964, and shared 49 beautiful years together. Her beloved husband, Dan, passed away on October 30, 2013.
Georgia has a true heart of gold. Her mission in life was to spread endless, unconditional love to others. Always with arms wide open, Georgia would open her doors to anyone deserving of a hot meal and warm conversation. All things revolved around her family, they were Georgia’s world. She loved attending the many basketball games and soccer games that her children and grandchildren played, cooking meals for hungry tummies, and reading her Bible.
Georgia has been a longtime member at West Seventh St. Church of Christ, devoted over 50 faithful years.
Georgia’s favorite scripture was st Corinthians 13. If you knew her, you would know just where her heart was.
