Born on February 27, 1954, in Maury County, Tennessee, to the late Robert Smith Vick and Lucille Owens Vick. Ronnie's life was a testament to the joy of connecting with others and the beauty of artistic expression.
Ronnie's infectious sociability was a hallmark of his personality. He possessed the remarkable ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, and by the end of it, he would have not only learned their life story but also left them with a smile. His quick wit and kind nature endeared him to all who had the pleasure of crossing his path. In his prime, Ronnie seemed to know everyone in Maury County, a testament to his genuine interest in people and the community he called home.
A true artist at heart, Ronnie found his passion in interior design and upholstery. His journey into this craft began alongside his mother, Lucille, as they worked together crafting bedding, drapes, and more. Over time, Ronnie honed his skills to become a master upholsterer, renowned for his meticulous attention to detail. His creations were not merely pieces of furniture; they were works of art that reflected his dedication and love for his craft.
Beyond his artistic pursuits, Ronnie dedicated many years of his life to serving the community as a school bus driver for Maury County. He cherished the opportunity to build relationships with the students, always taking the time to connect with each one. The family will lay Ronnie to rest privately in Rose Hill Cemetery beside his mother.
Ronnie is survived by his brother: Larry (Debbie) Vick; sister: Elaine McWilliams; nieces: Courtney and Jennifer; nephews: Blake and Tommy; special friends: Marsha Hendry and Chuck Rodgers; and special cousin and caretaker: Jeanette Vick Lovell.
