Mr. George P. Kendall, Jr, age 93, a resident of Signature Health Care in Columbia, passed away on Monday, August 31, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mr. Kendall will be conducted Thursday, September 3 at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Home in Anderson, IN. Burial will follow in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.

Born February 29, 1916 in Mecca, IN, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Hazel Fisher Kendall; late step-mother Edith McSherry Kendall and the husband of the late Olive L. Fields Kendall. He was the owner of Fields Roto-Rooter Service and a school bus driver for Anderson High School and Edgewood Elementary School. He loved golf, his place on Lake Tippecanoe and enjoyed helping kids in the band.
Survivors include his sister-in-law: Margaret Hutchens of Columbia; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister: Louise Murphy; a brother: Robert Kendall.
