George Elton Lindsey

Mr. George Elton Lindsey, 55, a resident of Anderson Creek Road in Ethridge, Tennessee, died Thursday, April 7, 2005, in Columbia.

Funeral services for Mr. Lindsey will be conducted Sunday, April 10, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Brother Dickey Lindsey officiating.

Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the son of the late George W. and Ethel Conner Lindsey. He was the husband of Glenda Floyd Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey worked in maintenance at the Graymere Country Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by, one sister, Mary Dale Brumit of Santa Fe, TN; two brothers, James Lindsey of Ethridge, TN and Charlie Ray Lindsey of Elizabethtown, KY; mother-in-law, Florene Gossett of Hohenwald, TN; brother-in ?law, Terry Floyd of Hohenwald, TN; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Harvell, Jimmy Harvell, Raymond Conner, Terry Floyd, James C. Lindsey, Donald Brumit and Andy Brumit. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Graymere Country Club and William Pewitt.

Memorials may be made to the Graymere Country Club Maintenance Department, 2101 Country Club Lane, Columbia, TN 38401.
