Mrs. Geneva P. Crews Williams, 72, a resident of West Merchant Street in Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Heritage Manor.
Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be conducted Thursday, May 8, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Randy Kersey officiating. Burial will follow in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
The Lawrence County native was the daughter of the late Earnest T. Crews and Hilda M. Rone Crews and the wife of the late Sidney Williams Jr.. She was a longtime employee of Arrow Lake.
Mrs. Williams is survived by a granddaughter, Stacy Raylon Runions of Mt. Pleasant; a grandson, Todd Andrea Williams of Columbia; three brothers, Jack Crews of Washington, Bobby Alice Crews and Ernest Helen Crews Jr., both of Mt. Pleasant; a great-granddaughter, Morgan Runions of Mt. Pleasant; three great-grandsons, Justin Ingram of Mt. Pleasant, Chase VunCannon and Austin Hardison, both of Columbia.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by two sons, Robert Wayne Williams and Ernest "Kenneth" Williams; and two twin brothers, Ronald and Donald Crews.
Pallbearers will be Hal Brown, Paul Crews, Howard Mangrum, Henly Edwards, Dan Blankenship and Claude LeMay.
Honorary pallbearers will be the dedicated fishermen of Arrow Lake.
