Mr. Gaston Crigger, 77, a resident of West Cooper Street in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Monday, September 24, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Crigger will be conducted Saturday, September 29, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Pastor David Schindel officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 6:00 ? 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late John D. and Mary Jane Holder Crigger and the husband of Dorothy Keener Springer Crigger. He retired from the US Air Force, after a term with the US Army, and served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era. Mr. Crigger enjoyed making people laugh and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Roxanne D?Amore of Las Vegas, Gaston A. Jean Crigger of Summertown, Robert Raen Crigger of Columbia, David Kathy Crigger of Las Vegas and Sharon Lauren Stingley of Spokane, WA; mother of his children: Shirley Miller of Las Vegas; five sisters: Clara June Crigger and Eva Hersheline Crigger, both of Columbia, Ethel Cross of Burbank, CA, Ellen Crigger Groomes Shepherd and Eunice Audrey Crigger Oliver both of Columbia, TN; grandchildren: Christopher Crigger and Joshua Crigger both of Colorado, Danielle Crigger of Salem, OR, Anna Crigger and Jonathan Crigger both of Columbia, TN, Mallory D?Amore of Las Vegas, Jason Crigger and Jadon Stingley both of Spokane, WA and Bryan Crigger of Las Vegas; two step-Children: Steve Springer of Smyrna, TN and Mary Phil Skillern of Florida. He was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Crigger Dudley and a brother, Royce Crigger.
Pallbearers will be Larry Goodwin, Brad Goodwin, Lauren Stingley, Robert Crigger, Gaston A. Crigger and Jason Stingley. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Crigger, David Crigger and Jonathan Crigger.
