Gary R. Kotewa

Mr. Gary Kotewa, age 67, a resident of the Joy Road Community, passed away on October 13, at Hidden Acres Nursing Home.
Funeral services for Mr. Kotewa will be conducted Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Jeff Foster officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 4:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Miami, FL, native was the son of the late Joseph F. Kotewa and Carolyn Pope Kotewa. He was the husband of Mary Massey Kotewa of Mt. Pleasant. Gary was a graduate of the University of Maryland and was retired as a Parole Officer for the State of Tennessee. He was retired after 26 years of service in the United States Air Force and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his children: Kelly Greg Veldey of Windsor, WI, Kimberley Sy Steinburg of Boise, ID and Brian Brenda Kotewa of Idaho; 6 grandchildren: his step-children: Jane Massey and Stanley Christy Massey both of Mt. Pleasant; step-grandchild: Jessica Massey of Mt. Pleasant; one step-great-grandchild: Michael Lindsey III of Mt. Pleasant; one sister: Cathy Billy Samerk of Peru, Il; one brother: Robert Kotewa of Peru, Il and several nieces and nephews.
