Ms. Freda Faye Helms, age 77, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Freda was born on March 30, 1939 to Lawrence and Lois Hambright Cooper at Maury County Hospital in Columbia. She retired from both Edric Shirt Factory and APCOM and was always a very hard worker. Freda was the widow of Harold Helms. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother and her children will always love and miss her, as she was a blessing from God.
She is survived by her children: Clennis Cooper of Santa Fe and Deborah Faye Cooper of Chattanooga. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
