Fred Gordon Hart

Mr. Fred Gordon Hart, 70, a resident of Columbia and the husband of La Deane Hart died Friday, October 17, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Services for Mr. Hart will be conducted Tuesday October 21, 2003, at 1:00p.m. at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Columbia Funeral Home .
He was a former long-time resident of Simi Valley, California. He retired from General Motors in Van Nuys, California in management. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. He was of Methodist faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Laura Lee Timothy, Sr. Hart-Damm of Columbia, TN; two sons, John Gordon Hart of Spring Hill, TN and Robert Earl Hart of California; grandchildren, Shelli Hart , Timothy Damm, Jr. and Kenneth Damm all of Columbia, TN, John Harlan Hart of Spring Hill, TN , Jessica Hart of Illinois and Robert Earl Hart, III of California and a great-grandson Shane Michael Hart of Columbia, TN.
Pallbearers will be John Hart, Timothy S. Damm, Sr., Timothy S. Damm, Jr., Shelli Hart, Kenneth W. Damm and Harlan Hart.
