Franklin L. Benefield

Mr. Franklin L. ?Frankie? Benefield, 57, a resident of Mockingbird Drive in Mt. Pleasant, died Friday June 18, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Memorial services for Mr. Benefield will be conducted Saturday June 26, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Life Church of Columbia with Reverend Darrell Martin officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday June 26, 2004 immediately following the service. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia will be in charge of the arrangements.
The Jefferson County, Alabama native was the son of Jack Benefield of Adamsville, Alabama and the late, Pauline Miles Benefield. He was the husband of Susan Neal Benefield. He retired from Menasha Corporation of Mt. Pleasant. He was a member of the New Life Church of Columbia and played the Bass Guitar in the church band.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his children, Jamie Nona Wilson of Ashville, N.C., Paige Phil Stout of Magnolia, TX, Philip Jean Ann Benefield of Madison, Al, Scott Benefield of Raleigh, N.C, Frankie Missy Benefield of Huntington, WV., Miles Benefield and Courtney Benefield both of Mt. Pleasant; a brother Jackie Bernice Benefield of Birmingham, AL; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 1212, Columbia, TN 38401.
