Mr. Franklin D. Rowland, 62, of Old Trace Road in Hampshire, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003 in Hampshire.
Funeral services for Mr. Rowland will be conducted Thursday, May 22, 2003 at 2:00 p. m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Sheboss Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Willie and Bethel Gibson Rowland of Columbia. He was a former employee of Kasbar and an extremely talented mechanic.
Mr. Rowland is survived by a daughter, Anita Rowland of Dallas, Texas; a son, Frankie Neal Rowland also of Dallas; two brothers, Jimmy Barbara Rowland of Columbia and Lemuel Dean Joanne Rowland of Williamsport, PA.; one sister, Loretha Ivey of Nashville, TN.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Mr. Rowland is preceded in death by two brothers, Willie "Buck" and John L. Rowland.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, William, Mike, Jason, Roger, Jackie and Jeff Rowland.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Dale, Billy Carroll and Glen Mash.
