Frank Nicholson

Mr. Frank Nicholson, 76, a resident of Wedgewood Drive in Columbia, passed away Monday, June 19, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Nicholson will be conducted Friday, June 23, 2006 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend James Gardner officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late George T. and Lutie Brown Nicholson and the husband of Barbara Dunavant Nicholson. Mr. Nicholson retired from Tietgens Cee Bee Grocery in Mt. Pleasant and was a member of the Craft Memorial United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Tim Jamie Nicholson of Hendersonville, TN and Terry King of Columbia, TN; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one sister, Dot Dennis Mabry of Columbia, TN; four brothers, William Thomas Nicholson of Mt. Pleasant, TN, J.B. Dot Nicholson of Columbia, TN, James C. Janette Nicholson of John?s Island, S.C. and Wray E. Jeanette Nicholson of Gallatin, TN. He was preceded in death by twin-daughters; three sisters, Nell Hayes, Sarah A. Nicholson and Mary Elizabeth Matthews; one brother, George E. Nicholson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Hayes, Frank Thomas, Frank McBride and Jeff Tietgens.
Memorials may be made to the Craft Memorial United Methodist Church, 907 Hatcher Lane Columbia, TN 38401.
