Mr. Frank ?June Bug? Moore Matthews, Jr., 42, died Friday, September 3, 2004, at his residence on Morningside Lane in Columbia.
Funeral services for Mr. Matthews will be conducted Sunday, September 5, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home of Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of Mary Sue Sullivan Matthews Mitchell and the late Frank Moore Matthews, Sr. Mr. Matthews was a self-employed carpenter and was of Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Justin Rhodes of Culleoka, TN; a sister, Renee Matthews Bridges of Columbia, TN; a half sister, Beth Matthews of Columbia, TN; a nephew, Christopher Bridges of Columbia, TN; two uncles, Robert Sullivan and Johnnie Sullivan both of Columbia; three aunts, Faye J.C. Gray and Peggy Sullivan both of Columbia, TN, Dot Harold Glover of Pulaski, TN; special friend, Phyllis Vick of Columbia, TN.
Pallbearers will be Ray Beard, Johnnie Sullivan, Robert Sullivan, Marty Williamson, J.C. Gray, and Danny Strickland.
