Frank James Stanfill

February 9, 1933 — June 14, 2005

Mr. Frank James Stanfill, 72, a resident of Galloway Street in Columbia, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Graveside services for Mr. Stanfill will be conducted Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at the Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Jerry Jeter officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.

The Water Valley Community native was the son of the late Alberrt and Nadine Stanfill. He was a retired self-employed plumber and former machinist in Chicago. He served our country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Davis Stanfill of Columbia, TN; a daughter, Elaine Stanfill of Baton Rouge, LA; a son, Danny K. Stanfill of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Hazel Ervin of Columbia, TN and Shirley Scott of Nashville, TN; four stepchildren, Wilma Ken Campbell of Centerville, TN, Bonnie Arthur Tate of Hermitage, TN, Howard Denise Anderson of Columbia, TN, and Edie Steve Groom of Spring Hill, TN; eleven step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James Stanfill; two sisters, Opal Stanfill and Maggie Dunaway; a brother, Albert Stanfill.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Anderson, Lester Paul Murph, Steve Groom, David Love, Anthony Lee, Bobby Poore, and Greg Swanson. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Lynch, Hobert Stanfill, Charles Collier, Melvin Gibson, and Hal Gibson.
