Frank Edward Holcomb Jr.

Mr. Frank Edward Holcomb Jr., 63, resident of Crafton Foster Road in Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, April 11, 2002, in St. Thomas Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Holcomb will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with J. D. Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 ? 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. He was a native of Maury Co., the son of the Minnie Mae Himes of Columbia and the late Frank "Sam" Holcomb Sr. or Mt. Pleasant. He was the husband of Dianne Brick Holcomb. of Mt. Pleasant. He was member of Cathey's Creek Church of Christ. Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include one daughter, Angela Taylor of Lincoln, Neb., one stepdaughter, Mrs. Tom Shireen Walker of Gillettee WY, one step-son Steven Laurel Sahli of Rapid City S. D., and six Grandchildren, three half-sisters, Bertha Shouse of Santa Fe., Kathy Daniels of Twin Falls Idaho, and Annie Himes of Lewisburg, three half-brothers, Gerald Humphrey, James Humphrey and Johnny Humphrey all of Santa Fe. And three special friends Haville and Charlotte Himes and Leonard Embler. Pallbearers will be Haville Himes, Leonard Embler, Jack Embler, Clifton Himes, George Pavel, Rob Sparks and David Bridgeforth.
