Franco Lagunes-Gargallo

Apolinar “Franco” Lagunes-Gargallo, age 44, of Summertown, Tennessee passed away on March 28, 2018.

Franco was born on July 13, 1973 in Vera Cruz, Mexico to Rogelia Gargallo and the late Apolinar Lagunes. He was a strong man with a gentle character. He was always joking and was very talkative. He was a generous man; always wanting to help his friends and family. He was especially dedicated to his mother; he loved her tremendously and wanted to take care of her when he went back to Mexico. He loved to be outdoors in the beautiful countryside. Franco had a very strong Faith in God and attended the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Columbia, TN.

Franco is survived by his mother: Rogelia Gargallo; sisters: Rosa, Leticia and Martha Lagunes; brothers: Miguel and Hugo Lagunes; nephews: Miguel “Angel” and Jacinto Lozada-Lagunes and Jose, Enrique and Pablo Olquin and nieces: Samantha and Zaret Lagunes and Katia and Christy Olquin.

The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Columbia, TN. A funeral service will be held following visitation at 5:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints.
