Frances L. Stiles

Mrs. Frances L. Clubb Stiles, age 86, of Columbia, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Frances was born on December 2, 1928 to Lewis S. and Vivian Nanny Clubb in St. Louis, Missouri. She married Edward M. Stiles on March 3, 1951 and they had thirty-eight years together until he passed away on June 21, 1989.

While living in Illinois, she worked in the medical records department of Memorial Hospital. After moving to Maury County, she worked at the Columbia Wal-Mart. Frances’ life was about much more than a job, however. She was a wonderful mother who loved her family and would give them anything she had. She had a great heart. She was a Christian lady who loved her church family, First Family Baptist Church, but most of all her Lord. She loved to watch St. Louis Cardinals baseball and to cheer them on, and she enjoyed crocheting and other crafts.

Mrs. Stiles is survived by her children: Jack (Bonnie) Stiles of Culleoka and Dennis Stiles of Culleoka; grandchildren: Nicole Stiles, Nicholas Stiles, Angie Stiles (Randy) Holden and Alison Stiles, 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: Lewis and Vivian Clubb; husband: Edward M. Stiles; and son: Curtis M. Stiles who passed away on December 7, 1985.

Funeral services for Frances will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee with Bro. Billy Kimbrough and Bro. Mike Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington, Missouri. The family will visit with friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday immediately prior to the funeral service.
