Frances Riegger Morefield

Mrs. Frances Riegger Morefield, 87, a resident of Woodland Terrace in Alexandria, VA and a former resident of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, June 28 2006 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Alexandria, VA.
Funeral services for Mrs. Morefield will be conducted Saturday July 8, 2006 at 9:30 am at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Bob Adair officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Born in Shreveport, LA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alberta Landess Riegger and the wife of Charles John Morefield. Mrs. Morefield was a retired nurse and homemaker and attended Highland Park Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Charles Landess Morefield of Alexandria VA and Stephen Foster Morefield of China; two grandchildren, Michael Samuel Morefield and Jessica Ann Morefield.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
