Frances E. Capps McCauley, 93, a resident of 912 Maple Drive East Tawas, MI, peacefully passed from this life on Monday, April 16, at Maury Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
A private memorial service for Mrs. McCauley will be conducted at a later date. An Inurnment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, East Tawas, MI. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia will be in charge of the arrangements.
The Greensboro, NC, native was the daughter of the late William P. and Stella Mae Sharp Capps and the widow of James A. McCauley. She was a loving housewife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Tawas City, MI.
She is survived by her daughters, Jean E. Kriebel of East Tawas, MI, Nancy A. John Dainus of Fort Myers, Fl., and Susan Jean Harold Sharpe of Mt. Pleasant, TN; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Hannah E. Gray and a son-in-law: Wendell T. Kriebel. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
