Mrs. Frances Bradburn was born on May 24, 1923 in Maury County. She was the daughter of the late Henry Urbin Rail and the late Anna Teresa O'Kelly Rail. Frances was the wife of Raymond Odell Bradburn who preceded her in death on January 5, 1982. Mrs. Bradburn had been employed by Sims Department Store, was regional manager of Tupperware, manager of Potpourri Gift Shop and Hampshire House Apartments. She was instrumental is establishing Meals on Wheels in Mt. Pleasant. She was a very civic minded lady. She was a member of Beech Hill Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, James Liz Bradburn of Columbia and Eddie Diane Bradburn of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Mary Ann Terry Hendrixson of Franklin; she was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, Jen Josh White of Washington, D.C., Anna Hendrixson of Nashville, Seth Hendrixson, Lorin Hendrixson, Kelsey Hendrixson and Corbin Hendrixson all of Franklin, Jason Bradburn and Jamie Bradburn both of Columbia; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Henry Rail and Harry Ann Rail both of Mt. Pleasant and Tom Ethel Rail of Wisconsin; and a sister-in-law, Betty Rail of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Jackson Rail and William Bill Rail.
Mrs. Frances Rail Bradburn was 87 years old and a resident of Sterling House in Columbia. She passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bradburn will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 28, 2011 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Vernon Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at the Beech Hill Cemetery.
The Bradburn Family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Active pallbearers will be Seth Hendrixson, Corbin Hendrixson, Jason Bradburn and Tim Rail.
Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant is assisting the Bradburn Family with the arrangements.
