Mr. Francis James "F.J." Woodward, age 83, a resident of Duck River, passed away Monday at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
No services are scheduled at present. Inurnment for Mr. Woodward will be scheduled at a later date in the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC.
Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Sacramento, CA, he was the son of the late James and Albina Bedard Woodward and husband of the late Patricia K. Woodward. He was a retired insurance agent and a US Marine veteran of WWII and the Korean War.
He is survived by his son: Michael Woodward of Duck River, TN and a sister: Shirley Buchheister of California.
