Faye Thomason Allen

Mrs. Dorothy Faye Thomason Allen, 67, a resident of Joy Road in the Mt. Joy Community, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Allen will be conducted Friday, March 11, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Elmer Crosby officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Claude and Nettie McKennon Thomason and wife of Jerry C. Allen. She was a retired seamstress from Southeastern Manufacturing Company, a homemaker, an avid gardener and a member of Allensville Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Dianne William Dunnebacke of Columbia and Judy Steve Wade of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Michael Cheryl Allen of Hohenwald; three brothers, C.C. Jean Thomason of Mt. Joy Community, Edward Thomason of Summertown and Robert Lucille Thomason of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren, Will Dunnebacke of Columbia, Emily Wade and Timothy Wade, both of Mt. Pleasant, Tyler Allen and Hannah Allen, both of Hohenwald; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dena Foster and Rena Dycus; three brothers, Ulna Thomason, Ernest Thomason and David Thomason.

Pallbearers will be Allison Allen, Tyler Allen, Steve Wade, Timothy Wade, William Dunnebacke, Will Dunnebacke and Tony Foster. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Thomason, Ray Thomason, Terry Thomason, Brandon Burns, Johnny Boshers and the deacons of Allensville Baptist Church.
