Mrs. Faye Rochelle Allen, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, September 22, 2002 at Hillview Health Care.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, September 24, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Reverend J. C. Christian officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home.
The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late Arthur Lee and Carley Easley Mathis Rochelle. She was the widow of
William E. "Bill" Allen. She was a retired bookkeeper and was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant where she sang in the Chancel choir and was a Sunday School teacher.
She is survived by three daughters; Ann Billy Parchman of Columbia, Patty Jack Crews of Hampshire, and Caroline Borum of Ashland City; one sister, Mae Frank Hodge of Nashville; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; two nephews, Dennis Mary Rochelle of Hampshire and Billy Pat Rochelle of Culleoka; and other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons; William Parchman, Allen Parchman, Denton Crews, John Borum, Jr. and grandsons-in- law; Christopher Hensley, Greg Howell, Rufus Clifford, III and David Butler. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant.
