The Giles County native was the daughter of Willie Edward Cox and Mary Elizabeth Inman Cox. Mrs. Ring worked and retired from the Local Union 912 after 40 years of service. She put her heart and soul into raising her two sons. Later, she became the most affectionate and loving grandmother to her three grandsons, and she loved nothing more than spending time with them. There are not enough words to express the love she had for her grandchildren. She was loved and adored by her family and many, many others. She was a devoted Christian and member of Loyal Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ring is survived by her sons, Ronald Dean (Anita) Ring, Jr. and Thomas Edward (Tracy) Ring both of Columbia; grandsons, Matthew Tanner (Jessie) Ring, Tyler Lee Ring, and Tanner Evan Ring all of Columbia; brother, Richard (Debbie) Cox of Hillsboro, Illinois; sister-in-law, Peggy Ring Sampson; brothers-in-law, Billy Ring and Allen Teasley; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald “Ronnie” Dean Ring, Sr.; brothers, Charles Cox and Frankie Cox; sisters, Jewell Cox Keeton, Louise Cox, and Carlon Cox Teasley; brothers-in-law, Bobby Sampson and Hubert Stricklin; and sisters-in law, Jennie Ring and Jane Cox.
Pallbearers will be Freddie Ring, Kevin Ring, Jason Ring, Randy Baxter, Chris Demastus, and Rickey South. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Johnson, Bob Meachum, and past and present members of the Local Union 912.
The family would like to express special thanks to the caregivers at Compassus Hospice, specifically Tracey Roberts and Ashley Barker for the loving care they provided.
