Faye Nicholson Ballard

Mrs. Faye Nicholson Roberts Ballard, age 75, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away at her residence on Sunday, September 13, 2015.
Faye was born to Ed. T. Nicholson and Ruth Finney Nicholson on May 28, 1940 in Maury County, Tennessee. She married Larry Ballard on May 7, 1968 and was a dedicated homemaker. She attended the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.
Faye loved her family, especially her grandkids and spending time with them. She was so proud of them all. She loved collecting dolls, teapots and salt and pepper shakers. Having yard sales was also one of her favorite past-times. However, one of her favorite things of all was celebrating Christmas because she could have everyone together, and she loved shopping for everyone.
Faye is survived by her beloved family, including her husband of 47 years: Larry Ballard of Mt. Pleasant; children: Tammy (Randy) Eastep of Mt. Pleasant, Pam (Terry) Parham of Culleoka, Stacey (Susan) Roberts of Mt. Pleasant and Valerie (Barry) McDaniel of Columbia; grandchildren: Melissa Myers, Aaron (Tiffany) Eastep, Jessica (Justin Runions) Parham, Kayla (Dustin Gibson) Parham, Brandon (Brianna Apodoca) Roberts, Amber Roberts, Joseph (Caitlyn Love) Brown, Blake (Tiffany Kennedy) McDaniel and Megan (Will Mosley) McDaniel; great-grandchildren: JJ Myers, Gavin Myers, Jaelynn Gill , Jase Runions and Braxton Roberts; brother: Tommy Nicholson; nephews: Rodney Nicholson, Jerry Ballard, Jr. and John Dugger, III; niece: Leigh Ann Parson; sister-in-law: Linda Lou (John) Dugger, II; and best friend: Retha Woods.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ballard will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Randy Kersey officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the funeral home.
Grandsons, Aaron Eastep, Brandon Roberts, Blake McDaniel, Joseph Brown, Justin Runions and Dustin Gibson will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Ballard, John Dugger, III and Rodney Nicholson.
