Farrell Lewis, age 37, a resident of N. Main Street in Columbia, passed away Thursday at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

Funeral services for Mr. Lewis will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Jimmy Roland and Rev. Howard Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson?s Chapel Cemtery.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:30 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Born October 26, 1972 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Eulous and Lecy Hay Lewis. Mr. Lewis worked for the Maury Co. Board of Education in the maintanance department for 5 years and was a carpenter all his life. He was a dedicated fisherman and hunter and a member of the Maury Co. Coon Hunters Club. He attended the Redeemed Ministry Church.

He is survived by a daughter: Faith Lewis; son: Dalton Blake Lewis; sister: Kim Herbert Adcock of Columbia; brothers: Ronnie ?Ray? Byrd, Clarence Linda Lewis, Joe Melissa Lewis and Kevin Lewis, all of Columbia, Greg Tiffany Lewis of Centerville and Vince Teresa Scott of Santa Fe; special nephew: Joseph Danielle Lewis of Shelbyville; nieces and nephewss: Ashley Lewis, Tracy Hernandez, Shutane Walls, Nathan Lewis, Brandy Scott, Cameron Scott and Terry Scott; great nieces and nephews: Landon Hart Travis Lewis, Dyanona Hernandez, David Hernandez, Greg Walls, Isah Walls, Daeen Walls, Penny Woodard, Greg Byrd, Jeremy Byrd, Ruby Byrd, Nichol Byrd, Tiffany Byrd and Kayla Byrd. He was preceded in death by an infant brother: Michael Lewis.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Lewis, Dwight Fox, Jeff Humphrey, Robert Humphrey, Art Fitzgearld, Roger Ragsdale, Chester Ragsdale, Maury Ring and Ricky Stanfill. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Maury Co. Coon Hunters Club, members of the Maury Co. Board of Education and the members of the Redeemed Ministry Church.
