Mrs. Evelyn A. ?Becky? Richmond, 79, a former resident of Sunnymeade Drive in Columbia, passed away Monday April 10, 2006 at her home on Mere Drive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Richmond will be conducted Wednesday April 12, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Bob Vassar and Reverend Russell Pigg officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Willie W. and Lena Boshers Allen and wife of the late Edward D. Richmond. She was a retired Production Lab Tech with Dupont and Spontex, an avid ham radio operator and a member of the Pleasant Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Marguerite Hardison of Columbia; a brother and sister-in-law, John Ed and Mamie Allen of Columbia; special friend, Carol Black of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Flossie Allen Carter.
Pallbearers will be Phil Skillern, Jeff Skillern, Jason Skillern, Jay Skillern, David Carter, Danny Carter, Johnny Allen and John Garland Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. William Robinson, Harold and Dean Richmond, Gene and Sylvia Hayes, Beth Phillips, Anne Bonilla, Darlene Wisdom, Kathy Moser, Bridgette Woods, Carolyn Barber and Brenda Thomason.
