Mildred Evelyn Waldrop, age 82 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Mildred was born May 22, 1930 to the late Charlie Robinson and late Susie Adkisson Robinson in Maury County. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother to her family. She was married to her loving husband, Russell Waldrop. Mildred attended Macedonia Church of Christ – Spencer Hill.
Her survivors include: Her Husband, Russell Waldrop of Mt. Pleasant; Her Son and Daughter-in-law, Michael Waldrop & Tracy Howell Turner of Mt. Pleasant; Her Grandson, Daniel Waldrop of North Carolina; Her Granddaughter, Nicole Flatt of Summertown; and Her Brother, Jesse Robinson.
She is preceded in death by her brother, C.V. Robinson.
The funeral service for Mildred Evelyn Waldrop is Saturday, January 19, at 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery of Mt. Pleasant with Brother Jeffrey Waldrop officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 18, from 5 PM to 9 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
