Evelyn Stills Patterson

Mrs. Evelyn Frances Stills Patterson, 84, a resident of Pleasant Street in Mt. Pleasant and a former long-time resident of Delray Beach, Florida, died Friday, September 3, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Services for Mrs. Patterson will be conducted Sunday, September 5, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rick Points officiating.. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.

The Mt. Pleasant native was the daughter of the late T. and Lillie Lorene Cocke Stills. Mrs. Patterson was the widow of Buiel Thomas Patterson who died in 1984. She was a retired seamstress and she loved sewing and word search puzzles. She was a member of the New Song Baptist Church.

Mrs. Patterson is survived by her children, Judy Patterson, Richard ?Rick? Patterson and James ?Jim? Patterson all of Mt. Pleasant, TN; two sisters, Dorothy Luckett of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Carlene Howard Brown of Columbia, TN; her grandchildren, Peggy Neal Brady of Columbia, TN, Bryan Patterson and Patrick Patterson both of Lakeworth, Fl, Frank Joy Mercado of Boynton Beach, FL, Tony Mercado of Whiteville, TN and J. T. Ringelstein of Columbia, TN; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Patterson.
