Mrs. Evelyn McKee George, 86 , a resident of Knob Creek Road passed away Sunday October 30, 2005 at Life Care Center.
Celebration of life for Mrs. George will be conducted Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend David Usry, Rick Points and Kenvin Sisk officiating. Burial will be in the Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 3 :00 until 9 :00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late George McKee and Minnie Jacobs McKee and the wife of Robert George. Mrs. George worked on the farm with her husband and refinished furniture as a hobby. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She was a member of Godwin Chappell Methodist Church and attended the Mt. Wesley -Akin Nazarene Church in Santa, Fe, Tennessee.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Allene William G. Scott of Columbia, TN and Enoch Phyllis George of Santa Fe, TN; grandchildren, Tim Bonnie Scott of Columbia, TN, Bryan Dannette George and Stacey Michael Warf both of the Santa Fe area; great-grandchildren, Cody George , Tanner Warf, Robert George, Taylor Warf and Makayla Scott all of the Santa Fe area; several nieces and nephews; Tiny Baby, a very special friend, her dog.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ervin Edith and Addie McKee; two sisters, Lillian Bracken Walters and Virgie Clarence Woody.
Pallbearers will be Tim Scott, Bryan George, Michael Warf, Claude Johnson, Wayne Scott and Will Frank Woody.
