Evelyn Alice Almonrode

Evelyn Alice Almonrode, age 83 was born June 30, 1928 in Yatesboro, PA to the late Tullio Morelli and Mary Corn. Evelyn was a Nurse Anesthetist for nearly 48 years, spending nearly 11 at Maury Regional Hospital. After retirement she continued to work at the hospital as well as volunteer for the Humane Society the "People's Table" as well as numerous charitable organizations. Evelyn enjoyed being a part of a swim group that meets at the YMCA. Mrs. Almonrode attended St. Catherine Catholic Church here in Columbia.

Evelyn leaves behind two sons, Gary Jayne Almonrode of Goodlettsville and Dale Almonrode of Columbia; One grandson, Freddie Almonrode of Jacksonville Beach, FL; One granddaughter, Ellen Jade Sanchez Almonrode of Barcelona, Spain.

Visitation for Mrs. Almonrode will be Monday the 26th from 4 to 7 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. A Rosary service will be held at 8 PM. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday the 27th at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Columbia at 10 AM.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the Humane Society of Maury County or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
