Mrs. Eva Mai Malugin Buffington Martin, 66, a resident of Gary, IN., died Monday, July 25, 2005 at St. Catherine?s Hospital in Gary, IN.

Funeral services for Mrs. Martin will be conducted Saturday, July 30, 2005 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Columbia with Rev. Howard Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 2:00 till 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Born in Hickman County, she was the daughter of the late James Porter and Drucilla Elizabeth Hicks Malugin and wife of Donald Edward Martin. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Black Oak Baptist Church in Gary, IN.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Toni Buffington Ingram of Summertown and Jacqueline Marie Kevin Dickerson of Gary, IN; five sons, James Mark Peggy Buffington of Valparaiso, IN, Trent Lane Buffington and Brian Dennis Buffington, both of Gary, IN, Barry Lee Natalie Buffington of Schererville, IN and Gregory Len Julie Buffington of Culleoka; four sisters, Sue Hopper of Ocoee, FL, Shirley David Cross of Clifton, TN, Margaret Ann George Davis of Columbia and Brenda Benny Morton of Hampshire; five brothers, James W. Brenda Malugin, William Lester Pam Malugin, Robert Gayle Malugin, Roger Floe Malugin and Kenny Jan Malugin, all of Columbia; 10 grandchildren, Kyle and Ethan Ingram of Summertown, Ashley and Trent Buffington of Hobart, IN, Kristen Buffington, Andrew Buffington and Tyler Buffington, all of Schererville, IN, Austin McKinney of Culleoka, Erin Jones, Kevin Dickerson and Gina Dickerson, all of Gary, IN; great granddaughter, Alexis Buffington of Schererville, IN; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Pallbearers will be sons. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
